Let your kids experience the magic of farm life as they learn something new about farm life each week, when they join The Little Farmers Club.
Perfect for kids aged between 3 and 10, The Little Farmers Club aims to teach kids in a practical and hands-on way about farm life.
One of our talented and experienced farmer guides will guide the kids through activities such as:
- How to groom and care for a Pony;
- Guinea Pig care and handling;
- Picking and grading of citrus fruit;
- Gardening – planting and maintenance (and of course eating)
- and lots more including learning about cows, sheep and alpacas!
Regardless of the activity each week there with be plenty of fun, laughs and memories. Our small nature playground is open afterwards for some fun and parents are welcome to spend time in our café with a relaxing coffee. A parent for each child is allowed to join for the first week to help them settle, but we encourage parents to leave the children as soon as they are settled.
Itinerary:
- Arrive at the orchard;
- Start: Session starts each week with supervised animal feeding and collecting chicken eggs;
- Kids join one of our farmers to go through a farm activity;
- Finish: Session and supervision finishes;
- Kids are welcome to spend time with the animals after the session with a parent;
- You are free to use our Orchard Picnic areas and playground after the session.
Cost:
The cost for the 8 week term will be $80 per child and is payable in advance. No refunds are given if your child doesn’t attend all of the 8 sessions.
Should your child feel unwell or has shown signs of being unwell they should stay at home.
Clothing:
Kids are required to wear a hat, sunscreen, closed in shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
